1.CR (ComputedRadiography), also known as indirect digital X-ray imaging technology, the main principle is the use of storage phosphor imaging, Fuji, Japan's first launched in 1981 for the clinical application of CR, Kodak, Germany AGFA company then launched the CR product, which uses the phosphor crystals constituting an imaging plate (Plated) i.e. IP plate absorbs the X-ray information, IP plate photosensitive latent image is formed, and then scanned into a digitized signal into a computer system to perform image processing. IP board looks like an ordinary intensifying screens by the substrate and the phosphor material, the outer layer add a layer of protection, then the cassette loading protection, like ordinary X-ray cassette take film. IP board in the X-ray exposure after the X-ray image information is stored in the crystal, and then IP plate to the readout mounted explicit, the read out X-ray image information, fed into the computer system. The image information is read out and displayed after read out, the information stored in the IP board disappear, and the imaging plate can be reused. Advantages: (1) CR exposure dose compared with conventional X-ray photography, exposure agent is smaller than the conventional tablets; (2) the photographic conditions requiring lower than the film, almost no waste film; (3) CR X-ray equipment without going through a big change, no change in the filmmaking process and the original X-ray film photography; (4) image processing functions, can improve the accuracy and range of diagnostic imaging.
